I have been teaching ESOL classes in Queens and Brooklyn for the past ten years. I’ve both TESLA and ABE certification from the Literacy Assistance Center in Manhattan. Prior to that, I was a rehabilitation teacher for the blind and visually impaired. I also held a tenured teaching position in the Special Education department of a local public school system. In that my three children are now grown, scheduling is flexible and I have my own transportation, allowing me employment opportunities.
