My native language was Spanish. I was born in Bogota, Colombia but I’ve been in the U.S. since I was 16 years old.Learning the correct English pronunciation, I also developed games to enhance the learning of Spanish and English as a second language. I found that this was indeed a very useful tool to speed up learning and make students happier when they studied the language.For a few years before my retirement, I was elevated to serve as a counselor to adults whose primary language was Spanis.
