I provide custom tutoring in a variety of areas from elementary math and reading to college algebra, chemistry, and history. While I am a historian by trade I am an engineer at heart. I have learned that it is easier to adapt my teaching to the needs of students rather than attempt to make them learn in a way which might be contrary to their learning style. I developed this method while an instructor in the Navy and refined it as an elementary school tutor. I love watching students get excited.
