I was a substitute teacher for over 8 years in Illinois and am new to the Columbia area. I have taught grades pre k-12, regular ed and special ed, and ESL. I am a mother of 2 adult children, one with a degree and one a semester away from being finished. My youngest child has ADHD so I understand the needs of a hyperactive child. I have a BA in Social Work and Human Services from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL and some grad studies in Applied Family and Child Studies from Northern Illi.
