Hello wonderful students and parents!My name is Ashley M. and I’m currently a freshman at the University of New Mexico and majoring in Exercise Science. I’m majoring in Exercise Science because I’m a very athletic and love Math and Science. I played varsity soccer and basketball in high school and was awarded Female Athlete of the Year; also was top 15 in my class for academics.My experience with tutoring:I tutored fourth grade Spelling, Reading, Science, and especially Math. I also tutore.

Hello and welcome, I’m a recent graduate of University of New Mexico. My fields are English and History.My specialties in English are as followed: Creative writing, American Literature, World myths, American poetry. I also know the basic recipes for spelling, writing, and reading.My specialties with History are as followed: American History from the colonization up until the cold war era. I have a studied focus on the history of the southwest as well as a background education in New Mexi.

Having recently graduated with my Master’s in Geography, I am excited about the opportunity to share what I have learned with others as an independent tutor. I am passionate about all aspects of Geography and the Environment but also enjoy teaching English. I have experience tutoring Humanities and English on a one-on-one basis to help students work through problems and gain lasting skills to help them learn and get the most out of their education. Hello, I have been teaching for the past 2 years in South America. I have worked for a number of corporate companies such as, Samsung, pharmaceutical co’s, and Avianca Airlines in Colombia, South America. I was responsible for teaching the employees, administration, and upper management of these companies in beginning to advanced business English. I have also taught upper Intermediate English in Universities. It was my responsibility to ensure my students got the most varied and interactive.

As an elementary classroom teacher for 10 years, I was responsible for up to 30 students being successful in all subjects. Tutoring was a part of every teaching day as I planned curriculum including reinforcement for those needing a challenge and those needing more help. I adjusted my instruction based on quick assessments. Each student was my personal challenge to help reach his/her highest potential in understanding and performance. Just imagine what can happen when I am concentrating only.

I am an experienced teacher with a love for math, especially algebra. I specialize in working with people with special needs. I love teaching and I have worked in public education for over 7 years. Thank You for taking the time to look at my application!I am an experienced elementary education teacher with 20 years under my belt. I have worked in the public and private school systems. The grade levels I have taught are preschool through third grade with the majority of those being in the lower grades.I feel there are many methods to teaching a child. Every child learns in his or her own way and the tutoring process needs to reflect that difference. I will work to find the right “fit”.

I am currently a senior at Eastern New Mexico University working towards a degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education and emphasis in ESL. I have worked with children of all ages for several years through my involvement in the Golden Apple Scholars program where I was able to work with ages 5-7 and 15-16. Most recently, I have tutored and been a Supplemental Instructor at Eastern New Mexico University for two years and the Children’s Homes in Portales, N.M..

Hello!My name is Ms. R., I am currently a 7th grade math teacher at Bailey Middle School in Las Vegas, NV. I am looking to tutor K-12 students, specifically in mathematics during the summer in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. I am available 7 days a week, morning, afternoon and evening. I have my own transportation and am willing to travel as needed. I am able to tutor all elementary subjects, and am highly qualified to teach and tutor middle school mathematics, including new common core cur.

My methods are to create a personalized experience to adapt to the needs of the individual student. I have taught band, choir, jazz band, music theory and history in the school system. My experience is diverse and I have taught students of all ages! I taught private piano/oboe/wind/vocal lessons in Virginia Beach, Florida, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. I have an excellent musical pitch and will utilize sight reading and sight singing into lesson plans. I love to see the joy in the eyes of a student.
