Hello, My name is Dr. J. I am a retired teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience in the classroom and more through individual tutoring. I worked mainly in alternative programs with students from kindergarten age through high school who had emotional/behavioral issues. Most of them also had learning disabilities. I enjoyed the small class size and the challenge of individualizing instruction for each student. My philosophy is that learning should be fun and engaging and ideally self-driv.

Hello! Here is a little background information on me. I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Kinesiology while playing for the men’s soccer team.
