I want to make a positive difference for students who want to learn, and tutoring is a way to do that. I was a Career Counselor and mentor for the last twelve years, ten of those years with the Michigan Works organization. I assisted persons of all ages, both young and old, and a diversifed clientele. People of all ilks and ages, adults and teens, tend to feel comfortable around me and I relate with them in a non-threatening manner.I also was a volunteer tutor with the Oakland Literacy Counc.
