My creative writing, other than letters to the editor, was first published in 1988. I have been writing regularly ever since. My interests include local history, etymology, vocabulary, dialect and reading in a variety of subject areas. I own, probably, the only 20-volume set of the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) in a wide area. No local library owns the set!
