I have taken a round-about route to arrive at teaching. After working as a lawyer and later a hair stylist, I was blessed with the opportunity to teach speech at Calhoun. I loved teaching so much I returned to graduate school at UAHuntsville to get my master’s degree in English, a task I completed in December 2011.
