David P. began formal training with St. Elizabeth’s church organist on piano at age eight. His older brothers and sisters taught him how to play guitar at home, and at school he was a featured vocal soloist for concert performances. During his high school years, he began playing drums and singing at shows around the greater Cincinnati area. While attending Xavier University, David continued to play in several groups.
