I had the great privilege of tutoring students in Philosophy, Religious Studies and Western Thought during my time as a DPhil student at the University of Oxford. I saw many develop from somewhat intimidated students, new to the language and content of the field, to competent and confident scholars, many of whom have gone on to graduate and post-graduate programs in the field. My joy has been watching students succeed as the delight of the subject matter takes over their initial fears and strugg.
