I am an artist and graphic designer. I have taught life drawing and watercolor as a Graduate Teaching Fellow, and have run several drawing classes out of my home. For several years I ran the color department at a wallcoverings manufacturer, matching and approving color for printing wallcoverings. Although this is a departure from the usual course of a person trained in the arts, it gave me insight into using artistic skills in a business where a timely work schedule and cost containment are impo.
