I have taught elementary school grades 1,3 and 5 for over five years. I have raised two children of my own and while at home have helped them to learn their alphabet and simple addition. My son was reading on the second grade level by the time he entered kindergarten. I believe in phonics and the sounding out of words in order to learn the pronunciation and meanings.My love of science, archaeology and the ocean environment has been with me all my live.
