I started taking formal Spanish classes in 6th grade, continued through junior high and high school, and earned a minor in Spanish at Texas State University. In college, I traveled abroad to Cuernavaca, Mexico where I studied Spanish and perfected my everyday communication skills. I have also lived and worked abroad in Villahermosa, Mexico. Being a native English speaker, I remember the difficulties I had when first learning Spanish and I use that to tap into my students’ needs. I have clas.
