Hi, my name is Laurie. The best way I can say it is “I love math”. I have enjoyed math since I was a small child. Math is all around us and once you are comfortable with it, many aspects of life are much easier. My most recent teaching experience was in Texas where I taught 6th grade math for 4 years. I absolutely loved it. My students were/are able to see the true enjoyment I get from working with math. Budget cutbacks forced some lay-offs so I did not have enough seniority to weather the sto.
