I am a Christian who has spent the last 30 years as a bank Vice President/Compliance Officer, from which I am now retired. As an officer of the bank, I was afforded paid time off in order to perform volunteer work. For my volunteer work, I always chose to work with the local elementary schools tutoring in reading and comprehension. I enjoyed that time more than I can say. The teachers always complimented my work, often expressing that my student’s grades improved, not just in their reading s.
