I have been an educator for 13+ years with the District of Columbia Public Schools. Of the 13 years,I spent close to 8 years in the classroom setting primarily teaching fourth and fifth grades. The last five years have been split amongst writing mathematics curriculum, leading professional development sessions and coaching classroom teachers. My educational philosophy is such that each student has a unique way of acquiring and processing information. Thus, each student deserves an opportunit.
