I have been teaching full time on the collegiate level for nine years, and have been in my current position as director of jazz for six years. I went to Oberlin conservatory for my BM, where I majored in trumpet performance. I then was given a graduate assistantship at the University of Illinois where I obtained an MM and a DMA both with a concentration in trumpet and a minor in jazz.
