I grew up in Japan. My father was in the air force, so I lived on a US military base for a long time, but I also went to a public Japanese school after 4th grade. My mother is Japanese, so I spoke both English and Japanese as I was growing up. I received my BA in teaching ESL, and I currently work as a Japanese teacher at a local charter school, and as an ESL tutor! I enjoy reading books and going to Disney Land!.
