I am a professional Trombone and Euphonium player offering one hour and 1/2 hour private lessons. I have been playing trombone and euphonium/baritones for 29 years. I have played in the Hal Woolery Orchestra, and the Army Signal Corps bands. I enjoy teaching students to be proficient with their instruments as well as being well rounded musicians. The most effective way students learn is through “discovering” the answer themselves and gaining a complete understanding of the concept. When a student initially begins finding the correct answer to something, I challenge them to explain their process so that there isn’t one or more misunderstood step that happened to lead them to the solution.
